Dedicated UK servers
Williamson Labs operates its own dedicated servers in UK data centres, providing a UK-based home for websites serving UK audiences.
Hosting is available UK-wide for individuals, sole traders, businesses and charities. Your website is hosted on our dedicated servers; you do not need a dedicated server of your own.
Plesk access lets you manage your hosted domains and websites, with direct help from Williamson Labs when you need it.

Practical foundations

Protection in context
Every package includes SSL/TLS protection, hosting security monitoring and ongoing infrastructure maintenance on UK-based hosting infrastructure.
Measures used where appropriate include server firewall protection, malware scanning, brute-force protection, security and vulnerability monitoring, applicable WordPress hardening, and DDoS/CDN protection with suitable Cloudflare configuration.
Hosting security monitoring does not include unlimited malware removal, website repair or WordPress maintenance. Detailed coverage and any additional management are agreed for your service.
Existing websites welcome
You do not need Williamson Labs to have designed your website to host it here.
Migration assistance may be available for existing websites. We’ll agree the scope and any charges before work begins.
You will need to be able to provide the necessary access to your current hosting.
We plan migrations to minimise disruption and downtime wherever practical.
Your domain, your choice
Williamson Labs can help with domain registration, transfers and DNS configuration or management. We can also work with domains held at other registrars and configure Cloudflare where appropriate.
Transferring your domain is optional. You can keep it with your existing registrar.
Domain registration and renewal charges are separate from Website Hosting.
Managed when you want it
Hosting infrastructure management is included. Website maintenance and development are separate services unless expressly agreed.
Website content changes, WordPress core, plugin and theme maintenance, custom development and website repair are available through a separate agreement.
Performance optimisation is also available, subject to the website’s requirements and agreed scope.
Additional website management is scoped and priced separately from the three standard hosting packages.

Your total storage allowance includes website files, databases, email and other storage counted by Plesk. Individual mailbox quotas sit within this total; they are not extra storage.
The WordPress Toolkit backup allowance is a separate toolkit limit; it does not specify a backup schedule or retention period. Ask us to confirm backup and recovery arrangements for your service.

Unless separately agreed, hosting does not include domain registration or renewal, website design or redesign, content updates, WordPress plugin and theme maintenance, custom development, search engine optimisation, unlimited malware remediation, unlimited website or email migration, or general IT support unrelated to hosting.
